The UN has created 2005 as the Year of Microcredit to unite Member States, UN Agencies and Microfinance Partners to build sustainable and inclusive financial systems and achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Our role as an international NGO is aiming to reduce poverty by advancing the development and expansion of microfinance throughout the world.
